History

Panihati Balika Vidyalaya situated in the sub urban area of North 24 district of West Bengal , India at Panihati , Kolkata - 700114. Panihati Balika Vidyalaya is reputed to be one of the oldest and leading institution for education in the Panihati Municipality. It was established in 1946 by some of the local people who donated land for school. Our school falls under Khardah South Circle of North 24 Parganas DPSC and Panihati Municipality. Within the premises of the Panihati Balika Vidyalaya tucked to one side the tomb of Rokeya Sakhwat Hossain,  a woman who heralded great reforms in women's education and emanicipation in late colonial Bengal. Recently a statue of Begam Rokeya's inaugurated at Panihati Balika Vidyalaya premises by Dr. Partha Chatterjee, Education Minister, Govt. of West Bengal 

We can proudly say many of our old students became Doctor, Engineer, WBCS Officer, Teacher etc. It is one of the best school in Panihati area. The number of students and reputation of the school is growing up day by day. All of our teachers are trained and always gives their best for the school. Always we follow all government rules and orders very strictly. It is always a joy to watch young children enter the school with wide eyed wonder and leave with a love of learning and thirst for knowledge. We hope within few years our school will be one of the best school of India.
