History

Cathedral Mission High School, a fully Government-aided English medium Christian missionary school come into existence due to the amalgamation of two schools, namely, Bishop’s Collegiate School and St. Mary’s School in 1925. In 1977 it was upgraded to a Higher Secondary school with Science Stream only. The school runs under the aegis of the Governing Body of Diocesan Schools, Diocese of Calcutta, CNI and aims at dissemination of knowledge and education among the students who come from different strata of the society, particularly among the bottom-lined and underprivileged to awaken them to positive principles and material accomplishments in life and make each of them a worthy citizen of our country.
