Education is the only means to wipe out darkness from the society and school is the significant and perfect means to transform that darkness into light. This necessary social transforming task could be performed through the school in a holistic manner significantly. Cathedral Mission High School is known for its pioneering holistic approach in spreading knowledge and wisdom among the people since its inception in 1925. The noble mission of spreading the light of education was initiated since then by the dedicated Christian missionary of the Church and that significant social transforming mission is still being carried out with that of same mission zeal and enthusiasm by the present management of Diocese of Calcutta, Church of North India and the dedicated staffs of the school. The school is under the Governing Body of Diocesan Schools, Diocese of Calcutta, CNI, it’s a Grant-in-aid English Medium school under WBBSE and WBCHSE. With the right guidance and motivation of the management, we sincerely envisage to carry out the mission of spreading wisdom among masses dedicatedly and perfectly in the days to come keeping in mind the school moto purity, humility and truth.
