History

               After resigning from his job, Bhabani Prasad Sen thought of establishing a school in Nohari's bosom in 1956. He was assisted by Rammohon Bose, Sachinandan Dutta, Makhan Singh, Himanshu Roy, Gouripada Roy, Durgapada Sen, freedom fighter Prabhakar Bose, Dr. Bankim Bose and many more. First, Class five began in a mud room at Nohari Primary School. Bhabani Prasad Sen and Dhirendranath Sarkar started teaching. The teachers and many people in this area used to go from house to house and call the boys and bring them to school. At that time there was a lack of awareness among the students about education. Ardhendu Dasgupta, Sudhanshu Shekhar Roy and Sukumar Roy later participated in this great work. With the patience, ideals and enthusiasm of all, this school continues to improve. Rammohon Bose a social worker of this area donated land . Then the initiative was taken to get the government approval of the school. Although the first started in 1956, the school obtained government approval in 1958 to run two classes. The school obtained government approval in 1963 for the eight class and in 1966 for the ten class. The school later received the higher secondary school's approval.

             Bhabani Prasad Sen, Ardhendu Bikash Dasgupta, Sudhanshu Shekhar Roy, Banshidhari Banerjee, Kashinath Ghosh, Jitendranath Dey, Buddhadev Bandyopadhyay, Sudam Chandra Shil, Animesh Chakraborty & Debnarayan Datta (existing) have been performing efficiently the duties of Headmaster one after another..
