The school is at Banipur, Habra opposite Govt. B.Ed. College, Banipur. It is ten minutes  walk from either Ashoknagar road or Habra Railway Station.

This school had begun its journey way back in 1948. It was known as “Multipurpose Experimental School”. Then it began as an institute to facilitate the training of the trainee teachers of Banipur PGBT College, under the initiative of Mr. Himanshu Bimal Majumder, the then Principal of the College.
