From the desk of the head of the institution.

We honourable office bearers of the Diocesan Trust Association of the Church of North India, the dignified members of the school committee, respected teachers and non-teaching staff and the head of the institution have great pleasure of welcoming one and all to the website of St. Paul's School HS, at 33/1 Raja Rammohan Roy Sarani, Kolkata 700009. St. Paul's School is indeed an immense ocean of knowledge emanating from Christian missionary spirit with its oath to love and serve humanity. This school, ignited by the benevolence of Jesus Christ and inspired by the dedicated life of Saint Paul his apostle, strives to fulfil the motto of building up characters who are full of fortitude, fidelity and happiness. we like the great teacher, Saint Mother Teresa, teach our students that it "is better to light a candle than to curse darkness." We enkindle in them the truth that "pen is mightier than the sword." We instruct that learning begins at birth and ends only with death. Moreover, we implant in them the fact that knowledge is our best friend, the boundless source of all treasures. So, I wish all students that your life be free from all perils, full of talents and charity and that you all grow up to be physically intellectually and morally, broad-minded, just, hardworking, responsible and strong like a mountain that never moves. Over and above all you become honest citizens, devoted to the progress and development of our motherland. Now, this is to our respected guardians. May I beg you that you love your children dearly as love begets love. Be patient and kind to them always encouraging them to do well and appreciating them for their effort, more than their results. Ensure that you are not the cause of their despair. Do not enforce your dreams on them instead, let them dream and let them work hard towards realization of their dreams and aspirations.  Finally, here is my prayer to the God almighty, that we guardians and teachers with our combined effort succeed in educating our children and moulding them into the crown of creation as God himself desired human beings to be. May God bless us all.
