Don Bosco High School (HS), Krishnagar like any other Don Bosco Schools begins with a morning assembly during which we have the singing of the National Anthem followed by the school prayer. Then the Headmaster or the Secretary of the school gives some message to the students (at least once or twice a week). The Headmaster communicates to the staff and students if there is anything to be informed. Then the students go to their respective classes in silence accompanied by their class teachers. After the attendance the class begins at 10.30 a.m. During the lunch break the students of Classes V to VIII are served mid-day meal. Every week two teachers are in-charge of the distribution of mid-day meal.

The school has good boundary wall, with lot of trees around the compound. There is sufficiently a big playground for the students to play and have recreation during the lunch break. There are flower gardens in front of the school which are well-maintained by the members of the Eco-club and the teacher concerned. There is also a vegetable garden which is looked after by a group of selected students (during their spare time), under the guidance of a teacher and a Group “D” Staff. There is a Mini Stadium which requires some work for it to be useful for games. We are also trying to set up a gym for the students. We are grateful to the Department of Youth Services & Sports, Government of West Bengal for sanctioning a grant of Rs. Three Lakhs only for this purpose.

The school has a spacious assembly hall where we have morning and afternoon assemblies every day. The class rooms are spacious and have good ventilation. We have a fairly good library and a computer lab. We are trying to improve and modify our science labs (physics, chemistry & biology). Our Geography lab is also quite well set up.
