Subjects Offered

Don Bosco High School is a Higher Secondary school. There are three streams offered at the Higher Secondary level – Arts, Commerce and Science. For Arts Stream the following subjects are offered – Bengali, English (Compulsory subjects), History, Geography, Philosophy (Elective subjects), Sanskrit/Computer Application (Optional elective subjects). For Commerce Stream the following subjects are offered – Bengali, English (Compulsory subjects), Accountancy, Business Study, Computer Application (Elective subject), Mathematics (Optional Elective subject).  For Science Stream the following subjects are offered - – Bengali, English (Compulsory subjects), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (Elective subjects), Biology/Computer Science (Optional Elective Subjects). The students are free to choose any stream of their choice following the criteria set down for each stream.

For the secondary section the normal subjects are offered. There are no vocational subjects offered in the school. The school offers value education classes at the secondary level.
