Our Campus

Our school campus is situated (23.30°N /87.25°E) in the lap of nature extending from Chhandar- Bishnupur main road to 500mt. inside with tropical vegetation like Sal, Teak, Mango, Neem etc. surrounding it. The campus comprises two ‘L’ shaped buildings, a CLRC hall, a gymnasium , a library, a wide courtyard in the front of our school building and a large playground at its rear. There is an open stage in the courtyard under an old Jackfruit tree where different cultural programmes and activities are performed on special days. Two statues of Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar and Kazi Nazrul Islam at the left and right of the stage really serve their purpose. A herbal garden and a seasonal flower garden made and nurtured by the students in the western end add to the beauty of the campus. A statue of Rabindranath Tagore in front of the office building stimulates academic activities in us. In the gymnasium behind the office building the students regularly do physical exercise in their schedule classes. In the playground the children play during the tiffin hours.The pleasant natural atmosphere of our school makes it a perfect place for the noble task of teaching and learning.
