RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE SCHOOL

 

1. The school year begins in the second week of February and ends in December.

2. The date of birth once recorded in the school admission register cannot be changed.

3. Pupils are to be in the school at 9:00 am punctually. Late arrival get their school diaries signed  by the senior Master. The school closes at 3:20 p.m.

4. Reason for absence of their wards and late attendance should not be made by telephone but in writing the diary.

5. Pupils absent for five days in succession without information/permission may have their name struck off the register.

6. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school by enforcing rules regularly. They should check the diary regularly for remarks by class teachers regarding academic progress, behavior and neglect of home assignments.

7. A pupil who is absent from examination will have to produce relevant documents. He must have an average of 75% attendance.

8. The decision of the school authority with regard to promotion/sent up is final and binding.

9. Pupils who fail for two consecutive years cannot remain in the school.

10. All pupils are expected to come to school neatly dressed in school uniform. Elaborate hair hair styles are not allowed.

11. Pupils remaining absent on Saturdays will have to pay fines.

12. Pupils should not leave the school premises during school hours without a written authorization from Teacher-in-Charge/Senior Master.

13. The school will not be responsible for any pupil before and after school hours.

14. Any damage done to school property must be replaced or paid for by the pupil concerned.

15. Parents/Guardians are expected to accept and abide by the disciplinary measure taken by the school.

IMPORTANT NOTES TO PARENTS/GUARDIANS

• The  school expects Parents/Guardians to co-operate with the school authorities.

• Parents and Guardians must urge their wards to be regular and punctual in attendance.

• Parents/Guardians must insist on neatness and cleanliness of their sons/wards with their text books and personal appearance.

• Parents/Guardians are expected to pay visits to the school intermittently to discuss the progress of their sons/wards.
