From the Head Of Institution Desk

Existing HOI conducting Council Examination (Class-XII) successfully since 2018, the year of the first ever Council Examination in the school. HOI Room has been renovated and many pen paper works is now being done by Computer. Staff room also renovated with large table. Plantation inside school building has completely been changed with cool atmosphere. Discipline in all sphere has been developed. Class rooms got electric fans. School got running water during the present HOI. All special days are observed with full enthusiasm, encouragement and stimulation. I am feeling amply proud to be associated with Khenkul High School (H.S.) which, like a torch-bearer, has been imparting the light of education to thousands of students coming from remote villages of Nabagram block in Murshidabad district for last seven decades. As the HOI, I must convey my regards to government agencies, especially the school education department, for extending financial help liberally to upgrade infrastructure of the government-aided school. If a school is defined as relationship between teachers and students, Khenkul High School is an ideal educational institute in Bengal. I derive inspiration from my students who mostly come from poor minority and tribal families of daily wagers, migrant workers and farm labourers. The students’ parents may be needy but they are good guardians willing to make their children nice human beings. With the blessings of Kanyashree and sabuj sathi also the state government’s flagship programme, and other grants like SC/ST/OBC and Minority scholarships, our girls are racing ahead in their life and career with the boys apparently left in a tough completion. In addition , under the Sarva Sikha Mission , mid-day meal is provided every day from class V to VIII students. I also feel happy to declare that the tribal students here have the opportunity to study the Santali language, their mother tongue, in addition to Bengali and English languages. My strength is my teachers , non-teaching and other support staff who put in their hard works to run the existing establishment enriched with one NCC unit, a tribal hostel, smart class-rooms, midday meal kitchen, a large play ground with green surroundings kept clean with the Nirmal Bangla Mission. Looking forward to better days ahead,
