It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website. A new academic year brings with it a fresh batch of young learners; I extend a hearty welcome to all students being admitted to our esteemed institution.

Our school was founded in 1941 with quite a noble mission of educating the local students, enlightening and emancipating them.  Gradually it has emerged as a multi-cultural institute for students from varied backgrounds. It has in the mean time put on a number of feathers on its hat.

I wholeheartedly believe that two most important factors behind the all-round development and success of this school are :

(i) a long tradition of a very strict discipline and

(ii) a total absence of any kind of external interference.

This is probably reflected in the consistently brilliant academic performance of our students both during and after their school days.

The school is proud of its highly qualified faculty members who constantly strive for even greater excellence. Our school promotes student involvement in extra-curricular activities like the Annual Sports, Mock Parliaments, cultural programs like Rabindra Jayanti, Teachers' Day Celebration, and community services through various programmes.

Our school has now completed 79 glorious years. I am quite certain, you will all extend your good wishes to make this journey much smoother, to make our school more beautiful in every respect and to help our school reach its zenith.
