Margaret (Sister Nivedita) English school- A bi-media (English & Bengali) institute having more than 3000 students.

Admission taken :-

1. For Class V (Bengali / English Medium) .

2. For Class VI, VII, VIII and IX (English Medium) *

Admission Procedure :-

A notification regarding dates for distribution and filling up of admission forms is published in three well-circulated newspapers like The Statesman, Uttarbanga Sambad and Dainik Jagaran in the month of November/December of every year. Admission is taken through interview for all the above mentioned Bengali and English medium classes by the Admission board composed of different subject teachers of the school. The students are specially asked questions on vernacular language, English, Mathematics and General knowledge which incorporates knowledge on General science, History, Geography and current affairs. For student aspiring to the admission in class IX (English Medium), a minimum of 75% in the earlier class is desirable.

Thereafter, a list for each class is prepared according to merit (i.e on basis of the marks secured in the interview) and numerating the desired numbers of students to be taken. On specific dates, the selected students take admission by producing necessary documents and paying the required admission fees.

 

3. For Class XI (English & Bengali Medium) :- Immediately after publication of Madhyamik result, Govt. of West Bengal, admission forms are being distributed to the students of our own school. Merituous students of other school (CBSE/ICSE/ WBBSE) having at least 75% marks in matriculation can also apply for admission.
