As a Government-sponsored Higher Secondary institution Kantapahari Vivekananda Vidyapith (H.S.) follows the rules and regulations of the Education Department of West Bengal to the admission process of students.

We are very sincere to the students and guardians seeking admission to the Institution. It is our policy that no student should be forced to drop out of education through the admission process. Some mandatory and required rules are given-

1.a) The student’s wants to take  admission  in Class V -  IX. The student is admitting in class V _ IX mandatory to bring transfer out certificate from e-portal of Banglar Siksha duly signed by the Head of the institution last attended. The student who is not register in the e-portal till now but wants to take admission must Submit required documents for making DCF of the student. The student seeking admission in class V must attain the age of 10+ but not more than 11 years as the rules of state government.

b) It is obligatory for the guardian to come with the student at the time of admission.

c) The admission is started from 1st January if not declared as holiday each calendar year.

2. Admission in class 10 only available to the students of special ground with the necessary permission in written from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

3.a)In the admission of class 11 is started after the publication of MP result by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education. The students who have passed MP or its equivalent examination from W.B.B.S.E. or any other recognized board are eligible to take admission in class 11.

b) The institution provides Science and Arts stream facilities to the students seeking admission in class 11.

c) The students must bring admit Mark-sheet registration certificate T.C. certificate from e portal (no need for the students of our school) and other required documents  as notified in due course of time .The guardian must attend the Institution with the student at the time of admission. 

4. a) The students having passed the examination of Class XI will be allowed to take admission in Class-XII.

b) Admission in class XII is not generally felicitated the students other than the students of our school. The students on special ground with necessary written permission from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education will be eligible for taking admission to class XII.  

5. During the time of admission if any complication or problem arises please contact to the Headmaster of school for better solution.
