Our Campus

our school goes by the name of KANTAPAHARI VIVEKANANDA VIDYAPITH(H S.). It is the farthest corner of the newly formed Jhargram district. The school is under Binpur-1Block , Lalgarh P S., Lalgarh CLRC & Sijua 8no. G.P. The school is beside the Lalgarh-Ramgarh road. Most of the students are from SC & ST community. There are about 900 students and 21 staffs. The area of the school popularly known as 'Jungal-mahal. It has 14 class rooms, a headmaster's room, a teachers common room, an office room.a library. There is enough source of drinking water for the students as well as for the staffs. The school campus is surrounded by boundary wall. In the middle there is a big Field for feel-free movement of students. It has a big playground just outside the campus. we have multi-gym facility in our school. The school has hostel facilities for boys and girls students with limited seats and runs as per govt.rules.Inside the campus there are kitchen-garden, nutritional garden and flower garden. The school is fully decorated with colours, night lamp, garden etc. There is hygienic toilet facilities for girls students but some lack of facilities for boys. We are trying best to improve it. In the school campus there are statue of great Indian monk Swami Vivekananda and a statue of great reformer of education in Bengali best known as Vidyasagar.The results of our school have all along been satisfactory. We hold annual sports. Freshers'wellcome,Saraswati puja, all govt. Instructed events , etc every year. We all teachers and students maintain a co-operative and pleasure able relationship.We all  related to school abide by the rules and regulations of the school inside the campus.All teachers are good and qualified. The students are friendi. We take pride for our school.
