From the Head Of Institution Desk

                         Headmaster’s Desk

Greetings to all and welcome to this co-educational Higher Secondary Institution, Kantapahari Vivekananda Vidyapith which was established long ago in 1968 on 2nd January. The locality in which this institution is situated is inhabitated by poor people, a major portion of them belongs to the scheduled cast community and tribal community. It needs no mention that most of the people around villages are below the rank of lower-middle class.

By lighting the flame of teachers up holding the tradition of values, following the path of ethics, Kantapahari Vivekananda Vidyapith pay tribute to the great brahmin monk, Swami Vivekananda and works tirelessly Since 1968 for his commitment of rendering quality education to the society.

Swami Vivekananda rightly said

“Education is not the amount of information that we put into your brain and runs riot there, undigested, all your life.”

Education as we visualize has to play a catalytic role where it enables a learner to pursue and discover the man, matter and materials these contexts in their own way.

Our mission has been to achieve the above-mentioned benchmark.

As a headmaster from the year 2005 of the prestigious named Institution I feel it is my foremost duty to lead my staff and carryout time to time government order for all round development.

We take appropriate steps to make learning an enjoyable and stress-free activity having multi Govt`s scheme such as Shikashree, Kanyashree, Sabujsathi, prematric and post matric scholarship and also providing hostel facility of SC & ST boys and girls.

The World Today is changing at such an accelerated rate where we as educators need to pause and reflect on the entire system of education.

I believe our students are the builders of nature, movers and shakers. They can be the change and bring change.

I am sure every educational Institute makes a sincere endeavour to provide what is generally termed as quality education.

I recognise that as we “work together and learn together” students will be able to active this potential not to result itself to imparting bookish knowledge only but to inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity.

Now it is very unusual situation from 23rd March 2020. The Pandemic situation does not allow physical re-opening the school. Yet we are abiding by all Government orders and hope we will overcome this pandemic together.

Aristotle once said that “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education”.

So, our vision is to offer value-based education to our students led by four prime values of courage, self-confidence, compassion and equality.

I would like to end with word of Swamiji which is my message to parents and community –

“Help and not fight”

“Assimilation and not Destruction”

“Harmony and peace and not Dissension”

Thanks to our teachers, staff and parents.
