বিদ্যালয়ের সংক্ষিপ্ত ইতিহাস

বাজকুল জনকল্যাণ শিক্ষানিকেতন (উচ্চমাধ্যমিক) একটি গভর্নমেন্ট-স্পনসর্ড সহশিক্ষামূলক শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান। স্থাপিত হয় ১৯৭১ সালের ৬ জানুয়ারি। পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মধ্যশিক্ষা পর্ষদের অনুমোদন লাভ করে ১৯৭৩ সালে। বিদ্যালয়টি বাজকুল গ্রাম, কিসমত বাজকুল ডাকঘর, ভগবানপুর-২ সমষ্টি, কাঁথি মহকুমা, পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলা ও ৭২১৬৫৫ ডাকসূচকের অন্তর্গত। জনপদের জনপ্রিয় জননেত্রী মাননীয়া স্বর্গীয়া আভা মাইতির আন্তরিক উদ্যোগে স্বর্গীয় হরিপদ জানা, স্বর্গীয় খগেন্দ্রনাথ সামন্ত, স্বর্গীয় ভাগবতচন্দ্র সেন, শ্রী শ্রীপতিচরণ সামন্ত প্রমুখ মহোদয়গণের সর্বাঙ্গীণ প্রচেষ্টা ও সহযোগিতায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয় এই বিদ্যালয়। জন্মলগ্নেই বিদ্যালয় মাধ্যমিক স্তরের অনুমোদন পায়। পরে ২০১০ সালে অষ্টম মানোত্তর বৃত্তিমূলক তিনটি ট্রেড – ইলেকট্রিক্যাল, মেকানিক্যাল ও মেডিক্যাল চালু হয়েছে। ২০১৩ সালে উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদের অনুমোদন সাপেক্ষে বিদ্যালয় উচ্চমাধ্যমিক স্তরে উন্নীত হয়। ২০২০ সালে বিদ্যালয়টি সুবর্ণজয়ন্তী বর্ষে পদার্পণ করেছে।

Brief History of the School

Bajkul Janakalyan Sikshaniketan (Higher Secondary), a government-sponsored educational institution, is co-educational. It was established on 6 January 1971. WBBSE recognised this institution in 1973. It comes under the village of Bajkul, post office of Kismat Bajkul, block of Bhagwanpur-II, subdivision of Contai, district of Purba Medinipur and postal area with index 721655. The school was established due to the sincere endeavour of the popular leader of the locality Late Abha Maity with the selfless effort contributed by Late Haripada Jana, Late Khagendra Nath Samanta, Late Bhagbat Chandra Sen, Sri Sripati Charan Samanta and others. Since its inception, the institute was recognised as a 10-class school. Later in 2010, three VIII+ Vocational Trades – Electrical, Mechanical & Medical were introduced. And in 2013, WBCHSE permitted to introduce and continue the Higher Secondary level here. The school has entered into its Golden Jubilee year in 2020.
